Perhaps the most confusing English sentance ever concieved:
Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.
Somehow, this is a valid sentence. Buffalo can be both a noun, verb, and also as a noun adjunct. The verb buffalo means "to bully, confuse, deceive, or intimidate." This sentence is supposed to mean: "Bison from Buffalo, New York, who are intimidated by other bison in their community also happen to intimidate other bison in their community."
Go figure.
Digital Art
When deciding upon a new wallpaper for my computer, I have learned that I tend to lean towards digital art. Digital Art, as defined by me, is art that was somehow modified digitally - normally through extensive use of photoshopping. While some may argue that the use of image editing software decreases the artistic value of the original image(s), I think it enhances the image to highlight certain aspects and draw the viewer in.
For example:
This is one of my all time favorite pictures. Partly because of my love of power kites, and partly because it's just a freakin' awesome picture. This is more on the realistic side of things, with only a few altered aspects.
Compare that with this:
This piece of art shows the accomplishment of one brave lizard, reaching the top of the plants only to realize that is all that can be seen around him. This probably never happened and was a combination of at least two separate images (or perhaps no real photographs at all - sometimes it can be hard to tell). Digital art can look very different and take on separate forms such as photographs and movies.
